I received terrible customer service! In my experience Erika, the owner, has no communication skills and seemed to be oblivious to what her workers were up to at my home. Visit 1- they left streaks on bedrooms stucco ceiling. Visit 2- I came home to find my whole main level saturated with watery spray paint (primer)(dark gray) which I did not ask for , without any prior discussion and was it not included in the original quote. AND why use dark gray primer when the color I picked to go on my walls was white. Puzzling? The manager Daryl confessed to me that he tinted the primer too dark. Following visit 2, (at my expense) their time was spent fixing their own mistakes trying to cover up the dark gray primer showing through and sitting/waiting on my porch telling me my walls are too humid to roll on my paint colors. In my opinion, any experienced painter would NOT drench a 30 year old house (with numerous paint layers) with watery spray paint in the middle of a crazy heat wave. August 2018. When Erika finally contacted me, I felt she was very rude blaming me for humid walls and insinuating that the delay of project was due to extra prepping (workers having had to fix a some taping issue) In my opinion ,"a few areas of skim coat" as per the original description from Daryl, the manager, does not equate to $900 worth found on final invoice. Seeing that my home was not even half done I offered to pay them $1100 $3.378.70 later... my home is not painted (only completed area is ceiling on main level except for my laundry room which they forgot to paint)?? The original quote was $3491.70 for my whole home walls and ceilings (upstairs & basement). Erika had the nerve to write in an email that she was giving me a reduction in price. LOL. I reluctantly paid because they got a collection agency after me and I did not want to ruin my credit score. I wrote to the Franchisor before paying collection agency. (With no response). The Franchisor seemed unconcerned about the appalling service that I received from this particular franchisee in the Niagara area (Welland, Ontario)Buyer Beware!
Customer service is not great
They had some challenges at the beginning of our job but they were committed to getting the job done right and they did. I would use them again because of their customer service.
WOW !!! I had an amazing experience!! and as many of you know, finding great painters are very tough!! I had a great interaction. T-jay, Kim and Jeremy are professional, prompt, neat and conversational. We brainstormed on several aspects of the job and it turned out more beautiful then I could have anticipated! Thank you so much for a great interaction. I will be seeing you again. For everyone out there, WOW 1 DAY is someone that is priced competitively, does great work, is very user friendly, and has great people. I am a 5 thumbs up
Kim, Frank, TJ and Jeremy were wonderful! They inspected each area and filled in any defects and sanded them down. Their work is perfect! The rooms look like brand new! I would recommend Wow 1 Day Painting Niagara to everyone that I know! If you're looking to have a professional paint job done on your home, call them!
